Geforce 7300 = shader 3.0 - 4 pixel and 3 vertex pipelines. OK for gaming. DirectX 9.0c hardware. you can play any game with it.

Geforce 4 MX = shader 1.0 - no pixel and vertex pipeline, not supported by new games any more.

Go with 7300 its way better.

MX4 is WAAAYY out of date. It is a budget core from 2002 and runs directx 8.1 A 7300 is much newer and supports the latest directX and is a much better performer. The 7300 is also PCI-Express. If you're looking to purchase one of these cards, the MX 4 is a rip off in today's market, get the 7300.

I have a new Ati AGP 512 meg DDR2 It's incredible and fast and i can play any game without even a hit of flicker..it cost me a few bucks but well worth the money..and also stay away from any video card that comes in PCI format.. If you want quality then stick with AGP ..AGP means "Advanced Graphic Port" and is made especially for graphics ..so you will get better quality from these cards..
