Benzoyl peroxide washes (Oxy 10) or bars (PanOxyl) are good ways to deal with oily skin.
Neutrogena has a clay mask w/ benzoyl peroxide that is good and Origin's has a good charcoal mask.
Some people recommend Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask.
Here are some homemade remedies:
You can put a thin layer of plain Milk of Magnesia on your face and let it dry for 10 minutes or so. It will absorb the oil and tighten your pores. (I've done this & it works.)
These are remedies I've read about many times, but haven't tried yet.
You can crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.
Or use one of these variations to make a cleanser or mask:
Mixture: 6 crushed aspirins, mixed with the liquid facial cleanser at hand (I usually use either cetaphil or tersaseptic), and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.
Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.
Held 6 aspirin in my palm, and slowly dripped water onto them until they fizzled and dissolved! Once dissolved, I added 2-3 drops of honey into it and mixed it around with my finger. Applied to my face. Keep it on 15-20mins.
Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.
Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tee trea oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.
For toner:
8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin
or
mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil

Use an oil balancing skin care system. But, don't use anything like L-Oreal or Biore. These companies use ALOT of alcohol in their products. Alcohol has a really clean feeling on your skin, but it dries your skin out badly. And what happens when you dry out oily skin with products is, it tries to produce even more oil because it feels dry, and then you have even more excess oil on the top of you skin which causes your skin to break out even more. so what you want to do is, find a professional skincare line like Dermalogica or Avance, both of which can be found online and in certain spas. Then, you can find a spa near you that uses one of those products, and get one facial from that spa. During the facial, don't be afraid to ask what you should do, and which of the products would be good for your oil problem. Now, alot of spas use products in their facials that are professional only meaning you can't buy them in a store OR spa. so you can either get a regular facial every 4-6 weeks, or you can find the next best product that they DO sell in the spa. Technically, you only need a face wash and moisturizer to start out with the skincare line. Then, if you like the line you can start adding in an exfoliator, night cream, eye cream and so on, as your facialist recommends them. Everytime you want to try a new product, ask your facialist what the best kind would be for your skin type. And even if you decide you're in school, and don't really have the money for a facial every 4-6 weeks, still try to get one as often as you can afford to, to stay ahead of your skin's oil production. That way you won't have to pay as much money, but you will still get the professional advice you need. Also this new skincare plan will cut down on your oiliness so you will not have to blot with the blotting papers as much, and you won't have to worry about being oily in class because the skincare products will keep the oil controlled instead of dried out. But there is a good side, oily skin ages slower! ;-)
Good luck!

Well good thing you go to school...
My face is also really oil too so what I did (while I was going to school) was use the seat covers in the bathroom!
Instead of buying those expensive tissue sheets that get rid of the oil you can use the seat covers and it'll do the same thing...
Just press it up against your face and the oil will be soaked up!!!

This is the greatest honey facial mask recipe! It works amazingly well :d

Raw honey works incredibly well because not only is it natural, but it has anti-bacterial properties that works just as good and probably better than any lab-made cream in the market. I Highly recommend honey facial masks.
How can i get rid of really oily skin?!?

Mary Kay makes an oil matifier. It's a cream that you put on before you put on your foundation and it helps control how much oil is produced by your skin. I use it a lot in the summer and have been pretty happy with it.
