I just posted a question asking people to help me choose a middle name or additional middle name, and instead of doing that about half of them just insulted the name that I had chosen to be the baby's first name. Why can't people pay attention to the question? I wasn't asking if they liked the name that I had chosen, only to provide me with names that worked with it. People are so weird.

hi, i understand what you mean, lol! i posted a question asking bout a girl name and wanted to know how i should spell the middle name. would it look beter as one name, or two names, with a hyphen,ect.!!! there were several people that instead of answering my question went into telling me they didnt like the name, putting down different names that they liked instead, or said they didnt like the way i was spelling the first name and said i should spell it differntly! i understand that everyone has their own opinions and have their own taste when it comes to names and there are some that are gonna like the name i pick and others who dont care for it but...........thats why i didnt ask if they LIKED IT.............i asked for their opinoins on spelling the middle name!!! lol

oh, don't worry about other people. You're picking a name, you like it... guess what? your baby's name is going to have the name(s) you and your hubby decide and like because in the end, you both (and not others) are going to have the final say in what it is GOING to be!
but allow me to give a slight nudge to "Ash Roland Terrence Saini".... it sounds really nice and rolls right off the tongue and is rhythmic and flows. Oh, hindsight,... I just noticed this... not Roland Ash Terrence Saini because of the initials... hehee ... sounds just as good, but I know how you feel about the initial thing. My sister almost had the initials SPY. Eek! Hope this helps!

Funny story. Well my name is Jennifer, not a big name to make fun of, but if they did, it would make me feel unique! I bet your baby's name rocks! But i have seen answers when people insult the first name. I bet the name is awesome though! Your a funny girl! =]

I think they were pretty insulting but forget about it YOU like the name and YOUR baby will probably like it. It does not matter what they say!

Opinions are like bum holes everyone has one!!Don`t worry, it`s yahoo answers. There are certain names I don`t like, but others like them. It`s the reason why different people have different names. ( Shoulders Shrugging)

They were not nearly as mean as the kids in school will be when making fun of little Ash. "why are the kids at school calling me ash hole mom?" Don't torture the poor kid. Life's hard enough as it is.
