Oh yeah, for those of you who forgot, he buried her alive.

He'll most likely get the death penalty. I'm not a big supporter of capital punishment but I can't say that I feel that bad when someone who does something like this gets sentenced to death.

Considering little Jessica Lundsford was taken forcebly from her home, sexually assaulted and then buried alive clutching a purple stuffed dolfin-the answers posted were very interesting and creative, so to answer this question, I believe that the State of Florida should park his slimball a** in prison for life, being that the life expectency of a child molester/pedophile/murdering scum like Couy is about one week-that is after the other inmates get done with him while the prison officials look the other way-Prison inmates have no respect for anybody who harms a child-prison inmates look at pedophiles as being lower than the scum of the earth, and have invented creative ways of dealing with these scum-My heart goes out to the Lundsford family in having to relieve what transpired and having to relive what happened to their precious daughter-justice will be served, however if Couy is given the death penalty-there would be no justice-let the prison inmates provide the appropriate sentence, and may Couy rot in hell for all eternity.

We need to just let prisoners kill eachother more. They will kill all the pedifiles in there if we let them. Shoot, then we would have more room. Maybe there should just be a planet we could send them all to where they can kill eachother as much as they want. Humans will never stop becoming monsters, so just toss all the monsters in together and walk away. Somehow they need to have a separate prison for the really monstrous people. Whatever the case may be, all we can really do is try to spot and stop them before they get a chance to strike. The ones we catch, no second chance. Throw them in a pit of murderers.

Amazing! The first poster admits she would do the same! She is proud to be capable of such heinous acts.

What I think should be done to him is unrepeatable. He has forfeited any right to be treated as a human. He is a mad dog and we put those down. But I would come up with a much slower way than just shooting him.

I am speaking as a concerned mother.

Spiritually, I know this is a matter for divinity, and it will, and is being delt with, and is what it is.
However, as a father myself, no force known by man could keep me from torturing this sick piece of dung from within a inch of his pathetic life, then allowing him to recover so i could do it again and again, death is to good for him.
What gives me comfort is knowing that his future will be just that and more then i can imagine when he gets to where he is going...

Don't worry if he doesn't get the death penalty word will probably get around about who and what he is. He probably won't survive to many years in general population.

Caged for the rest of his life in the general prison population with no special treatment . .or protection . He is a monster . My heart goes out to Mark Lunsford - and for his restraint in not tearing him limb from limb .

Sentencing is about justice, not revenge. I do think the death sentence is appropriate in this case.

Any guesses how long, if at all, it will take to execute him??

I have a daughter about the same age as Jessica. If he had done these things to her he would already be dead and I would be going to prison.
I would stab him and his roomates with his coloring pencils.
