I am trying to order replacement parts for the car and have found where it list the "left side" and the "right side". Are the sides determined from looking at the vehicle or sitting in it? Ie: Is the "right side" the driver's side or the passenger side?

Passengers side. The hood is in the front, trunk is the back. So if you face the hood with your back to the trunk, drivers side is left passengers side is right.

Passenger side, it is determined by sitting in the car. Everybody knows that but you. No wonder you have to ask on Yahoo answers, you ask anybody that silly question in person and you will get a beat down.

umm, being that right hand drive refers to vehicles where the driver is sitting on the right while driving the vehicle and left hand drive refers to vehicles where the driver sits on the left hand side while driving, I'm going to have to say that it's when you're sitting in the car, looking out the front windshield.
