reminds me of the Vietnam war
the protesters were called a bunch of commies
but we got the troops back home
Now every one says it was a mistake, but boy if you said it then, you hated our soldiers, according to the republicans.
And regarding the higher taxes crap under democrats,
at least we the people of the United States reap the benifits of any tax increases, compared to this loony bin bunch that has inherited a surplus and then run this country into debt that will take us 50 years to repay. Whats the matter are you afraid of paying your fair share?

If anything, the Democrats are going to slide the country further into darkness. You really think they care about who they represent? Not when they want to tax the living hell out of every one of us just to see how much we'll bend. They're greedy and self-centered, only concerned with maintaining their power and money supply; to that end, they'll do anything they feel is necessary. The Republicans aren't squeaky-clean either -- to the contrary, many of them are positively murky -- but at the moment, they're a fair sight better than any Democrat I can currently think of. Except perhaps Zell Miller, who could pile-drive every one of them into the ground without thinking about it -- but he's a true American and Democrat, not one of your pale, socialist shadows of today.
Just for reference, the Democratic majority in Congress doesn't really mean all that much, considering how slim a majority it is -- and considering that they need a 2/3 majority vote to really do anything. It's a public relations dream, but in practice it isn't worth that much.

No, it's not. Nothing will change. The only good thing about those elections was they embarrassed Bush. Course, if they do push through their plans to declare Saddam king, despite the obvious handicap of being dead... It'd be a change.
And Allah means God you tool. It's the Arabic word for God. Y'know, the same God that Americans say they trust on their money.

Pressure from the Democratic Party is designed solely to keep the Democrats in power.
If they thought pressure to expand the war would do it, they would embrace that view.

On the contrary, the pressure is forcing us off track. Negotiating with the likes of Iran & N Korea can never lead to anything good.

Not fast enough. Dictator Dumbya is still up to his evil ways. He needs a tighter noose to "get religion" and stop stealing from the American and Iraqi people. Impeachment must be put ON the table!!! Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

What pressure are you speaking of?
Democrats say one thing, but do another. Case in point, the majority hate the military, but when it is politically correct they care about what happens to veterans. Give me a break.

If not it sure seems to be a coincidence that major changes happened begining around December and January and are continuing, things that could bud didn't change in 6 years.

It amazes me that people actually think that higher taxes, abortions for all, higher taxes, cutting & running from Iraq, higher taxes, constitutional rights to terrorists, higher taxes, giving the UN control over US national security and foreign policy, higher taxes, under funded intelligence & military budgets, higher taxes, and oh yeah…………higher taxes are going to put our country "back on track".
As if the Dow Jones being 12,000 and setting record highs, earnings being up, profits being up, mergers being up, acquisitions being up, taxes being down, tax revenue being up, interest rates being down, homeownership being at record highs, consumer spending being up, savings and investments being up, having the economy growing at it’s fastest rate in over 20 years, AND ALL DURING A TIME OF WAR AGAINST TERRORISM is somehow bad stuff.
Un-friggin-believable.....
