Okay so I'm married and just had a baby 3 weeks ago. I've been going to the gym now for two and 1/2 weeks very regularly. Well This trainer that works there told me I was doing one of the machines wrong and showed me how to do it right. now whenever I see him he's really nice...thats fine. but now he is offering to give me training sessions. I mean it is his job, and I feel like I still look hideous from the pregnancy (of course my husband disagrees), but could he be hitting on me? I mean I looked great before I got preggers and I know what being hit on is like but he this guy just being nice and doing his job or is he starting to hit on me? He goes out of his way to talk to me and help me on some of the machines...but he knows I'm married and have a baby.

BTW...a big reason I think most men who are being nice to me are hitting on me is because ex-boyfriends and my husband always assume that any guy talking to me is after me. I innocently gain men's friendships and then am told that the only reason guys even wanna talk to me is cuz they are somewhat interested. And it doesn't help that once i seriously let a gy friend know that I am not intetrested they always drop me as a friend...sept for like one guy from way back in middle school.

Oh and also, I have people at home that take care of my son when I want to work out or Tan or do errands or w/e I want to do. And I am vain, I never denied that. I used to model and entertain, I have to get back in shape.
And my doctor said I can start working out if I feel my body is able, I stop when I feel its too much.
Plus there is nothing wrong with wanting your hot bod back right away. Sorry I don't wanna be the mom who has a three year old and still says shes fat cuz she had a kid...I don't play that game.

YOU HAD JUST HAD A BABY AND ARE AT THE GYM!!!! ARE YOU MAD????? excercises of this kind are very, very dangerous before your 6 week check up at the doctors. Besides, where on earth do you find the time in between changing, feeding, laundry etc.......? Am afraid you sound like a very vain person and you need to get a grip on reality. Of course the guy is just doin his job,,,, and because he is doing it so well does not mean he is hitting on you. You are also setting a very bad example to other new mothers as what you are doing to your body is extremely dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. Secret. Guys don't want to be friends with woman they are not attracted to.
That doesn't mean physical attraction. That doesn't mean that we are looking for something 'special' from you.
That being said, he's probably trying to be nice. Maybe he's married and has seen how hard it is for a woman to lose weight after a pregnancy. Maybe his sister went through same thing.
AND, what if he IS hitting on you? Are you going to jump in the sack with him? I've had women, and guys, hit on me. I take it as a compliment. It didn't change me into a fornicating cheater...
So, take the free stuff. Not like you are leading him on... He knows you're married.
Sounds to me though like he is just trying to be helpful.

He is doing his job. He has to be nice, polite, a people person and he is selling something. He is selling you his services just like any sales man would. He knows that being you just had a baby and are trying to get your body back you would be a good person to offer his training services to. Think about it, if you were selling a product and you came across someone who is likely to accept your services wouldn't you be friendly with them? Chatty even? If I were a personal trainer and I came across a woman who had just had a baby and was working out to lose that baby weight I would definitely want to try to sell to her. She is more likely to buy. I don't think you have anything to worry about at all.

well if knows you are married and just had a baby, he's most likely trying to help you. he works at a gym he knows how frustrated women get wanting there "pre" baby bodies back. sounds like he may just be trying to help in a friendly way.

Sometimes we read more into something when someone is actaully just being nice. He know that you just had a baby and are working hard to get yourself back to where you were. It sounds like he is just being supportive of your efforts and is giving you extra help and encouragement.

why don't you jokingly ask him. You can't go wrong there. Say something like, If i were crazy, I would say you're trying to hit on me. and laugh. If he says no, say I was just kidding, but i must admit, you are very nice. I like that about you. Your family must be proud.

Why do all the women in world suddenly believe that every man that says a word to them is trying to take them to bed????
Most of us are tired of listening to you!!!

he's a trainer who is outgoing and is trying to be friendly towards you because it is his job to make sure the people there are enjoying their experience there at the gym....
