Both. That is to say that the official program of killing instituted in Hitler's Germany killed people of both Jewish and non-Jewish backgrounds. It could be argued that the organised extermination program had its orgins in a scheme to 'put to sleep' physically and mentally disabled patients in medical institutions. As such, it might be said the the concept seemed to arise in the medical community at the time. This suggests that the notion of state-sponsored genocide did not arise in the mind of one or two people in the Nazi party (a perspective that we might find less disturbing), but was the ultimate expression of a social policy that was debated and supported by large numbers of people in professional and government circles.

The 'Action T4' program of euthenasia (started before the war) involved the killing of an estimated 200,000 people. Many of these would have been 'aryan' blue eyed blond people. You would also have to note that a considerable number of honourable German citizens opposed Hitler and were executed by his regime.

The question of whether Hitler ever killed anyone 'personally' (apart from himself) has arisen elsewhere in Yahoo Answers. There is very little reason to distinguish between the responsibility borne by a Dictator who authorizes murder as an instrument of State Policy, and a person who kills with his (or her) own hand. Both are killers.

Hitler mostly killed Jews (though some Germans still denied the holocaust). But he wanted to have his idea of the "perfect" society where everyone had blonde hair and blue eyes.

Adolf Hitler wanted an Aryan nation and thought that the blue eyed blonde represented the perfect purity of a race. They were his models for the perfect race.

While Hitler did indeed kill Jews and half-Jews, he also massacred Germans (who didn't agree with his beliefs), Poles, Austrians, Czechs, etc...

Hitler did kill German unionists and socialists. I have to believe that some of them were blonde Aryans.

However, the vast majority of people killed by the Nazis were Jewish -- along with gypsies, Africans, homosexuals, some Slavic people and Jehovah's Witnesses.
