some people who think they are so funny are not to others...seems like they are the only one's laughing, i find this so irritating.... sorry folks i'm feeling b!tchy tonight, just bare with me and let me know if you find this irritating or not?

I agree. It gets so irritating sometimes that i get headaches. I just don't have the heart to tell them that their jokes are causing me physical pain.

I gotta coworker like that. He practically yells out obnoxious things he thinks are funny while the rest of us stand around with uncomfortable looks on our faces. We can't even muster fake, patronizing laughter for the guy.

finding a reason to laugh or smile is far more rewarding than finding a reason not to. i will not mock the ignorant, but that doesn't prevent me from having a private laugh at their expense. viewed that way, life is much more fun, IMHO.

As a child, I was very sarcastic. My mother would often scornfully advise me that I was the only one who thought I was funny. My standard reply was, "that's all that really matters."

I find that funny, so even though they suck when it comes to being humorous, I laugh because of how lame they are.
