It's thought that bras keep breasts from sagging as a woman ages. This hasn't been proven, however.

Personally, I wear a bra because I don't like my boobs flopping around all the time.

a bra provides support for a womens breasts, it often gives them a nice shape and makes them look nice and offers a degree of 'coverage' for woman who might not like people being able to see their nipples or size so easily!
