I listen to both. It's a tough decision cuz Jay-Z has come out w/ better songs. But Nas is a great lyricist. So it's a toss up.

I think I respect nas more, in the sense that he comes across as a deep and meaningful lyricist. Although Jayz has his moments, he's more of a temporary hit maker, which is cool cos that's where the money is at... BUT Personally, I think nas is a better contribution to the hip hop culture :)

Ewwwwwww tough one... my brother who is a huge fan of rap music would probably say Nas... but I think Jay-Z is better (and has more money to prove it!)

I really don't listen to rap...buuuuuut...I think that Jay-z or whatever his name is sounds extremely weird, I dislike his voice. I would go for Nas, he sounds better, and he's sexier.
