1) 1846. 2) Guadalupe Peak, 8749 feet (I think). 3) I don't know. 4) Caddo Indians. 5) Not sure, but BS is #1. 6) Wheat (?). 7) Rio Grande, Pecos River, Colorado River (No! Not that Colorado River! The other Colorado River). 8) Sabine River. 9) I don't know. 10) I don't know. 11) See Number 2.

For Texans I think that was the beginning of the calendar, no wait, the beginning was when they won their independence, so just add the number of years between and that was the year of existence as they know it.

(Do a google search for Texas history and geography.)
