try using light sandpaper on the bits you want distressed then launder

Rub it against something that wiil rug it up, add different fabric patches, spray colors on them or add glitter, and you coul duse your scissors to make the destroyed parts hang like vines!!

Rub jeans with a pumice stone or sandpaper. You need a very abrasive surface to make them look worn.

I would sew them after you put holes in them or they'll keep on ripping(around the hole I mean).Don't use too much bleach,it'll eat them up.
