It's funny when you get opinions from people from different places. I know quite a few guys names Kyree.-- very interesting -- that's why I love seeing what other people think about names:)

I know alot of people with odd names like that. Almost all of them go by nicknames, and they are embarassed by their real names. My advice is to name your child something that you would like to be named. The child will usually not be happy with anything too unusual. Go to some baby name sites, and pick something a little more pleasing to the ear. There are plenty of great names, that you wont regret later in life. But whatever you do, dont name your kid Kyree...

I do think it sounds like its a girls name. What about like Kareen or something like that instead of Kyree. Or you can replace the first letter with another good letter and see how it sounds. Or maybe Tyron, sounds better.

The name is only as suitable within the area/country from where the child is from. In America it would be acceptable within certain inner cities where names seem to be a bit unusual and hard to live with outside that geographical area.

Kyree sounds like a girl's name.
If you call your son that he's going to get picked on a lot.

Go for it, he'll grow up tough (like the boy named Sue).

Its nice. I like it. In response to the guy who said Kareen. Kareen?
Kareen is definitely a girl's name. Kyree can be for a girl or guy but most likely a guy.

It is really unfair to the kid; he'll have the hassle of changing it sometime between puberty and majority or become good with his fists.
Or is that the idea?
Remember "A Boy Named Sue"?

It sounds like a girl's name. Kai is a boy's name, but it's pronounced "Kay."
