One of my friends has a knee injury. The doctors said that he has fluid in his knee. What would happen if he didnt get the fluid drained and left it there.

please dont critisize just answer

Your friend will remain in considerable pain, and it probably get worse. He will probably start to favor the hurt knee, which can cause other problems.... He should have the fluid drained off the knee.....

I wouldn't call fluid in the knee "really serious". It can be uncomfortable though.

the fluid may just be re-absorbed by the body. There has to be a good amount of it in there for a doctor to think it is worthwhile to drain it. Is your friend afraid of the needle? most people I talk to about this who have had it say it isn't as bad as they thought it would be.

Fluid in your knee is very serious!!!
It could move ur knee cap outta place or something like that.
If u didnt get it out immediately then u may have to have syourgery later on in ur years.

Tell him that.
