Should Turkey be barred from the EU until they own up to the Armenian Genocide and pay survivors.
The Germans were punished and admit they have done wrong.
Why shouldn't Turkey?
Apparently the Turks are very much in denial about the whole affair.
Beside Turks seem like hateful people with hatred for the Greeks, Armenians and the Kurds.
So until Turkey learns to be a better global citizen I don't believe they should not be allowed in the EU.

Turkey should be allowed in the EU, but only once all requirements are met, and that includes recognising past atrocities, improving human rights, recognising Cyprus and then all the other economic, judicial and political requirements for entry. It should also be put off for well over ten years so that the rest fo the EU can get over enlargement fatigue.

There is over at least 5 million Turkish in Europe and they are citizen of different countries. As an example Germany. Most of the Turkish people are very friendly and have moral behavior. Every country has bads and goods; so is Turkey. I personally against Turkey being in EU and I am a Turkish citizen. Most of the Europeans keeping hatred in their hearts against Turkish people. About Armenian Genocide that was a war they want their independent by taking over Turkey's land of course people have been died from both sides. If that was Genocide so was Greeks in Izmir before 1923 or Britishers in Istanbul against Turkish. War is a bad thing and people dies, stop making up stuff and accepted there is no genocide.

Absolutely not. Turkey is a backward violent country. They decided to block youtube because of an offensive video. Can this country claim it understands European values? They are 50-60 years away to grasp the minimum of democracy. As long as they occupy Cyprus, refuse the genocide of Armenians, refuse rights to the Kurds, the Patriarch and other Christian minorities, as long as they kill journalists to silence them as long as they torture prisoners as long as the military rules the country from behind the scenes it should NOT be allowed in the EU. It is the responsibility of the Turkish people to realise who their real enemy is. Unless they get the military out of their lifes their country will remain undemocratic, backward and poor.

Why not! Turkey is a good country. I think it would be better for them to associate with Europeans than Arabs at this time.

No they should not be admitted. Since they are majority Muslim nation they should not have a heavy sway in the decisions of the EU.
