Bloggers method sounds interesting, but ineffectual. People with Dissociative identity disorder (DID) don’t always have personalities sharing memories or knowledge. So your notebook always having your name doesn’t mean you don’t have DID. Also do you mean a voice, or an inclination? If you actually think you have a problem you should see a psychologist. But, there are many other factors involved here, and there is nothing you’ve said that proves if you have a second personality. Only a psychiatrist in person with repeated contract is going to be able to make that determination. DID is extraordinarily rare despite it’s popularity in media. It makes schizophrenia look like the common cold.

DSM IV Symptoms,
•depression
•anxiety (sweating, rapid pulse, palpitations)
•phobias
•panic attacks
•physical symptoms (severe headaches or other bodily pain)
•fluctuating levels of function, from highly effective to disabled
•time distortions, time lapse, and amnesia
•sexual dysfunction
•eating disorders
•post traumatic stress
•suicidal preoccupations and attempts
•episodes of self-mutilation
•psychoactive substance abuse[4]

85% of adults with DID come from abusive families. Extremely abusive, I don’t mean daddy got drunk and hit mommy abusive. Repeated long term traumatic abuse. Your personality may not be the problem, your fear of being mean and or socially ostracized may be leading your imagination to think that something is occurring when it isn’t. But, if you are that worried go to a psychologist.

I'd say speak with a therapist.
You may have Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly called Multiple Personality Disorder).
Good luck.

Carry a notepad, and on it write and sign your name as you know it. On a separate page write: My Name Is [fill in the bank].

If after a while you notice more than one name, then chances are you have another personality.

It is easy to talk ourselves into thinking we have another personality.

We all have multifaceted personalities and behave differently in different circumstances.

Try to ignore that voice in your head, we can all have one. Don't give in to this phenomenon, no matter what anyone says.

It is dangerous and can have you labelled for life.
