What's the point, his term is almost up. The cost of doing this wouldn't be worth it. Do you want Cheney for President, that is what would happen.

I don't think he should be impeached let go back to the beginning shall we?
we have several planes taken over and used as weapons of mass destruction, the amount of people that died is nauseating, lets think for a moment that we had not entered the war in which we are in and there had been several more attacks on the country we would be calling again for impeachment for failure to act, for failure to protect America. Really I think he was screwed from the beginning there is no peace to be made with a country of terrorists and oppressors for they seek peace as a weak and pathetic thing.
No matter what Pres. Bush did he would have been censured on this, I think we should be grateful we have a president who is not afraid to act against popular opinion to defend people who hate him.
If you look at the whole picture there never is a "right" road.

This is pointless. That's where I stand. The people who think this stuff up are obviously very naive on the subject of impeachment. Just because the president gets impeached does not mean he has to leave office. Clinton got impeached and he never left office. So do yourself a favor and do something useful with your spare time. Try going back to school to further your education. And better yet, get a job. At least you get paid for that.

You're kidding right? 30 Vermont towns? What is that like 1000's people?
Don't waste our time or money on impeachment unless there is real evidence of a CRIME. We've got more to worry about.

Remember, Bush didn't go to war in Iraq without the support of congress. If he is impeachable, so is Hillary, along with a whole lot of other liberals who voted for the war. It's interesting that congress can't even agree on how to disagree with Bush. They have no answers, only complaints.

Just because people have changed their minds about what they elected George W Bush to do as president, doesn't justify impeachment hearings. There is absolutely no evidence on any wrong-doing by president Bush, otherwise leading democrats would be all over him. Yes they complain about him and regret THEIR support of his initiatives regarding Iraq and military spending, but that's not grounds for impeachment. And those that insist on impeachment are wasting their time. Bush is in the 3rd year of his LAST term in office. You're better off finding and supporting your candidate of choice for 2008 since Bush can't run for office again!!!

I would assume from your question that "they" want to
impeach MY President due to a war that is basically'
protecting OUR freedom to express ourselves as we
are now doing. Most people are concerned about
the supposedly non-existent Weapons of Mass Destruction. I personally believe the Weapons of Mass
Destruction did, in fact, exist. Consider the time frame
at the beginning of the war. It did not start suddenly...
Due to President Bush's desire to please "everyone"
he delayed while he appealed to the UN and went
throughout the world to raise a coalition. Meanwhile....
the (thank God) Late Saddam Hussein moved the
WMDs the adjoining sympathetic states. Hussein was
a murdering tyrant but he wasn't totally stupid. Why
did the Hussein Regime block UNSCUM from weapons
inspections during the Clinton Years? Why did President
Clinton Bomb Iraq for these problems during his Administration? Is it not obvious to anyone with a brain
that this a justified war against an evil regime and now
against people who want to kill AMERICANS. Wake Up..
read about "Radical" Islamists who want to kill you..Why
impeach someone who wants to protect you?

You do realize that the decision to do anything was not just by the President but by congress as well.
Everyone was given the same information (whether it was right or wrong) and acted upon it.
I find it funny that so many people like to finger point on one man.

There has to be a crime commited to start impeachment hearings. This is a waste or time. If we had as many Americans in support fo this country as we do against it...think what we could accomplish.
I am a troop, where do I stand. Well, with my boots in the sand. We'll come home when the job is done.

I think you kind of have to have a reason to impeach someone, and if you give the reason of "he lied to us" then you had better talk to Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, etc, etc, etc about what they thought when they voted to go to war! Actually, Hillary said that she thought it was her moral conviction! So come on, don't be ridiculous! The real question is how do we deal with terrorism? Thinking creatively is the solution, not trying to point the finger, because there are plenty of places to point!

You can't impeach a president because you don't agree with his policies. This measure will go nowhere. Besides, if Bush is forced from office, this will be no guarantee of an immediate withdrawal from Iraq. In fact I would bet against it since then the nation would collapse.
