I feel like there is several each week in the news. Why?

I was in Iraq from 2003 to 2005. I lived with Iraqis, and got to know their customs pretty well.
The reason for the car bombs is that they know they cannot win against US troops with face to face confrontation.
The majority of these car bombs are not done by Iraqis. They are done by insurgents from other countries. It is a cowardly act, that is only hit and miss successful. The problem is that if there are deaths, our news agencies pick up on it and make a big deal of it. Once it is reported, it became a successful mission. If the idiot press would quit reporting these sick events, the insurgents get no press, and they would decrease dramatically. If the reporting of one car bomb turns 100 Americans against the war, they claim a successful mission. If there is no reporting story, it doesn't pay to do it.
Pretty simple, huh? But try to convince the blood and guts press to quit. Not so simple when their motto is, "If if bleeds, it leads."
You only hear of the car bombs that do damage and injure people. The car bombs that go off prematurely, or not at all are not reported.
Want to win the war in Iraq? First thing is, prohibit the press from being there.

They cant beat us any other way, they want us out of their country so this is the only way they know how to try to kill us off. They are pretty much committing suicide, thinking they'll meet us with virgins when they die. Most are told that their families will get money for their death. They think Allah is happy when they commit suicide. But Reality is that the Koran forbids suicide and danger to people. These extremists live in a fairy tale land and make up their own Allah laws because they twist the Koran.

That is the only way they can really inflict any damage to the US and Iraqi troops. Should they ever stand and fight they would surely be destroyed in short order. Unfortunately, the real leaders of the insurgents or terrorists are afraid to die for what they say they believe - they always manage to find some poor fool that they can brainwash into dying for them.

Because these criminals are religious fanatics and don't value life as we do. They embrace death as martyrdom and believe they will be given 400 Virgins. Can anyone be any sicker then that?

Because they are afraid to really fight our guys over there. They are chicken S***!! I guess they figure they would die anyway if they were to actually go out and fight the real way.

i guess there's more muslim terrorists there, so more violence is only to be expected!
