The weather people say:
"the weather in the UK this summer will be cold and wet, with warm, dry periods, turning hot in some places, There is a possibility of rain, sleet and snow. Winds will be variable, from calm, up to hurricane force 8. there will be patchy fog and mist, with clear intervals. It will be generally lighter during the day, with light levels falling as the evening goes on, Periods of darkness are expected on most nights"

whats the point in asking that?? they get he weather wrong for the next day! yet ur asking for the summer. they predicted last year that there will be a heat wave in August, but SUPRISE, there wasnt! thats exactly what they predicted in 2005, and they were wrong.

u should know by now the UK weather is never predicted, actually no weather can b acurately predicted!

u just gta do things by chance! why do u think ppl alwsys go on oholidays to warmer countrys, or why many retired people move out of the UK!??

Reminds me of some of the best rueful jokes and stories.

1. Winston Churchill asked how accurate was weather forecasting during WW2. He was told that they got it right on 42 per cent of occasions. "Do better by tossing a coin", he grumbled.
2. Postcard from friend on holiday in Devon in 2001: "Hotel OK, weather fine - now settled to a steady downpour".
3. After dinner speech by American on his departure from England in 2005: "I missed this summer completely - I was tying my shoelaces at the time".

I found that your best bet is to ignore the weather forecast and just look out the window!!! Last year i watched the forecast every morning in the school holidays so i knew if i could take the children out anywhere, They'd say it was going to be sunnny, out the window it was bucketing it down!!!!
