Anything is possible, but if there is going to be a repeat performance of the Oilers run last year, it will be the Islanders doing it.

As for your hypothetical, Sabres in 6 with Drury and Sundin leading their squads.

I think we saw last week (6-1 & 3-1) how superior Buffalo is to Toronto. I dont hate the Leafs like some Sabres fans do but I just think the Leafs are too much of a patchwork team right now for anything better than an early exit from the playoffs. Buffalo in 5. Buffalo scorer...Briere, Toronto scorer...Tucker.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....sry , but what most people dont realize is that they havent even see buffalo in full throttle yet...in the playoffs buffalo will be unstoppable, at least in the first round..the maple leafs are a joke. buffalo would win 4-0 in the series, n pominville always does good in the playoffs, so he'd be the top scorer for nuffalo (3 goals 5 assists?)....n then the leafs will prolly have darcy tucker as their leading scorer cuz he is a smart player and can step up his game (2 goals 4 assist?)

1st, what's with all the morons saying the Sabres in 3 games? Playoff series are best of 7, therefore you need to win 4 games to advance. Go be a Pens fan and stop making Buffalo fans look retarded.
To answer the question, Toronto wont sneak in, Buffalo will play Montreal the 1st round, and that worries me more then playing Toronto. Either way, Toronto wouldn't win.

no, im a leaf fan and any good leaf fan is their biggest critic. They can beat atlanta because of their lack of playoff experience and they can beat ottawa because ottawa has little playoff experience and has never beaten the leafs in the post season. Everyone else is either 50% chance or less, especially buffalo and nj. I also doubt the leafs will stay in the playoffs, but they'll make it exciting and not make it by about 4 points. Leafs fans need to be perpetual pessimists or else we'll go crazy being wrong all the time.

No way. Buffalo will sweep. Briere is the leading scorer. Who cares if anyone scores for the Leafs.
