You won't get the return back. If you have a refund coming, it will take 6 - 10 weeks generally to get your check.

If you are asking about a refund requested on an amended return the answers already given are usually correct.

But, if you are under audit the amended return is normally forwarded to the revenue agent for review and approval prior to issuing any checks.
