I don't want a CD Ripper or an audio converter, I want to resize all my MP3 to use less space.

MP3's are already compressed - and the compression is LOSSY. Taking that LOSSY mp3 file and reducing the bit rate further will result in very poor audio. My recommendation is to take the source material and re-encode it into the bit rate you desire. Although this will also result in lower audio quality it won't be as bad as what you're trying to do.

ive converted all my mp3s from 256/320 to 192 kbps to fit more in the ipod
