What should I add to this? For my last paragraph in an essay on Humanism for the high school newspaper


While humanism is existing, nothing is more important than the individual human being. It was not in Sparta, but in Athens that got freedom of speech and freedom to challenge authority. The Greeks even allowed a human to challenge a god and got away with it.

I'm not sure you need to add anything, but you could make your statements more plainly. Your sample sounds it was written by someone who speaks English as a second language. Here's how I would edit it:
