I think this is true! Not to be conceited or anything, but I consider myself to be a very nice person. Unfortunately, many people DO take advantage of me because I'm a quiet person but I like to help out a lot! too bad huh?

yes ..in most cases peoplke who like to take advantage of others go for the nice ones

People taking advantage of you is rare.
Being nice is worthwhile in itself.
People taking advantage of you MAY be because of your carelessness.
But you ask a good question there.

Everyone is always telling me not to be so nice but I don't know why I'd want to be someone who isn't.

sometimes i do believe its true. i have heard that saying sooo many times over the years. i guess it depends on the situation.
