Hmm there were quite a lot. I don't think "the worst times of my life" were caused simply by one bad event, but by everyone seeming to pick on me during a period of time, adding insult to injury to the hard times I was already going through. You know the saying, when it rains it pours.

In middle school, a lot of guys made fun of me for having pimples or a flat chest and generally being unattractive/undateable. That hurt, and didn't exactly discourage me from my later decision to get implants.

I had a boyfriend in college that didn't last long. (I too was nasty though, with the way I eventually dumped his sorry butt...I left him a voicemail at 4am! lol) He was a spoiled rich kid who had his brand-new car and college tuition paid for in full by his parents, and lots of job networking opportunities. Whenever we got into our frequent arguments on AOL, he would insult me by saying things such as, "You've never held a respectable job in your life," which was a cheap jab towards the fact that despite my smarts, work ethic, and jobsearching efforts, I was never able to secure a job better than retail or fast food. That really hurt a lot. He further extended this by dismissively telling me to go cash my food stamps and get my welfare check. He frequently implied that I was "trash," simply b/c I didn't have money, a good job, or generous parents like his.

Oh and the pain I went through when I tried to jobsearch! People always assuming that I was a lot younger than my age, dismissing me without really giving a hoot that I wanted a small job that would allow me to "get my feet wet" in a career field. I went to an insurance office wearing conservative clothing, politely inquired about jobs, and the (only) guy in the office said in a condescending voice, "No I don't have anything at this time, but I appreciate a little girl like you looking for a job!" At the time, I was 21 and going into my senior year of college!! When I told him this, he hesitated for a minute, acknowledged that I was looking for office work, then suggested that I try the place next door, adding that they give their employees "free ice cweam!" I didn't realize only I stepped outside, that the place he referred to was some stupid ice cream-n-fried chicken shack!

What hurt me more than the way people treated me, was the fact that a year later, I STILL didn't have a good job despite my jobsearch efforts. It got to the point that my parents kicked me out and my dad even told me at the time, "You are nothing but ****." They were mad because I'd been fired from my last job and wasn't able to obtain another job as easily(I tried, plus my car was down at the time and I lived in a rural area w/o mass transit). I stayed with a few friends but a lot of other so-called "friends" falsely accused me of things and found it easy/amusing to pick on me. Most of these people were hypocrites. People constantly assumed that I was uneducated or unintelligent, simply b/c I only had a min wage job and nothing to show in life(in terms of material things like residence, car, etc). This one jerk was the worst. I was at a bar with a friend who was helping me out. A lot of people were already snubbing me b/c I was poor(it was a small lil' rich town), but hey it was where my friend wanted to hang out, so that's where I met up with him. Well at the end of the night, some drunken jerk forgot how many drinks he'd bought himself, and falsely accused me of stealing $40 from him. The funny thing is, he'd stupidly left his wallet on the bar next to me and I easily coulda stolen it, esp since I NEEDED the money...but I didn't, b/c it is against my morals to steal. He didn't even confront me, but went behind my back in a very shady, disrespectful way. He used my poor financial state as "reason" for why I must have stolen his money. All I saw was everyone viciously whispering, and everyone yelling harshly at my friend(the one I met up with) for defending me. Because of this jerk accusing me, my reputation now went from tarnished to completely ruined. Even the darn bartender sided with the jerk and accused me!...and she was the one who'd served him all those drinks that he'd spent the $40 on! Even after my friend another another guy explained that they'd seen him spending his money the whole night, he admitted perhaps they were right in a quick, dismissive way but never actually apologized nor did anything close to nice to me. Oh and earlier that same night, the accusing jerk mocked me with utter disbelief when I told someone that I had a college scholarship. He literally interrupted and said "yeah riiiiight!" like I was too dumb to have had a scholarship, and as if my lack of good job or money was "proof" of this.

I was glad that at least my friend stood up for me, but eventually he ditched me too, because he was simply tired of looking like an "outcast" by supporting me(even though I hadn't done anything wrong to anybody!). For example, he actually got ANGRY at me when he heard that I'd finally summoned the courage to tell the jerk that I didn't appreciate him falsely accusing me and then disrespecting me like a doormat the way he did. Shows that he was never much of a "friend." These people shunning me b/c of lack of money, was adding insult to injury, or rubbing salt into wounds. Eventually I ran into some better luck and was able to turn my life around, and to be honest I sometimes feel the urge to flaunt my newfound success to those rude men, even though it's been 2yrs now. I tend to have a very mean eye-for-an-eye outlook on things, I guess.

An unstable woman verbally abused me for several minutes while I was at work. I had to remain professional the entire time so I couldn't do anything, but I went home and cried for five hours.

I don't remember anything she said anymore. But I'll never forget that I couldn't stop crying that whole evening.

When I was just a couple of weeks pregnant with my daughter her father, who wanted me to have an abortion because a kid would ruin his life and I refused to, so he started kicking me in the stomach hoping that I would lose it.
Nasty, nasty man. Needless to say I'm a single mum and the happiest mum in the world. My daughter is so full of love (and chicken pox right now) that I only wish her father knew what he's missing.

I rounded the corner to my house and these little kids had their bikes lying in the middle of the street. I ran over one of them. I got out and apologized to the kid and to his father. They both agreed it was their fault for leaving the bike in the middle of the street. I was awakened at about 2AM by my car alarm. When I ran outside I saw 2 figures running away from my car. I checked my car and about 20 nails had been hammered into my tires. I know it was them.
