None of the above. A regular American might be nice. I'd kind of like to see what a non-elite American might do. Seems we did better when the average Joe could make it to the White House instead of just an elite class. Definately a non-hypenated American though. I'm sick of "special" groups.

I exhibit plenty of self-control, thanks.

As for the government, which I'd wish to see reduced in size, I'm going with Americans. Period.

The Hyphen Era is over.

Are there many Americans NOT ignorant? It seems to be American generally is to define oneself as ignorant. How else would American media with generally "retarded" material earn lots of money and be so popular? One needs ignorant people to have this sort of success.

PLEASE>>>>>give me a break!
I am of Apache Indian, Mayan Indian, Scottish, and last but not least Spanish. Let me open your beady eyes and enlighten you, the majority of Americans are of mixed races. Get a grip on life sweetie.

I would much rather govern and control myself, thanks. We have a government not to control us, but to protect our rights against those who would wish to remove them from us. A controlling government walks dangerously close to communism, fascism, and any other unjust system of government you can think of.

By the way, there was a question exactly like this a couple of days ago (minus the snare against Bush); in the future, please try to be a little more original. To say nothing of tactful.

I prefer to be governed by people who understand that religion and national origin are not what makes a person who they are. It is about a person's values and priorities, their compassion and intelligence...those are the things that matter to me.
