If we knew the answer to that, there'd be a lot less arguing between the Skeptics and the True Believers. There certainly have been countless rather curious incidents that suggest that there might be real aliens visiting us, but so far, no concrete evidence has surfaced.

Some 200 exoplanets (planets that aren't in our own solar system) have been discovered so far. There are billions of stars, just in the Milky Way galaxy. So yes, the probability is high that there is "alien" life somewhere in the galaxy.
But have aliens visited this world? Despite specials on the Discovery channel trying to hype this up, there has never been any conclusive evidence of this. "True believers", like religionists, beleive because they want to, regardless of the dearth of proof.
Serious scientists do not take alien visitation, abduction, ect stories seriously.
Edit: In response to the guy who said that demons exist even though we can't see them, and used the example of germs---We can SEE germs, nitwit! Haven't you ever attended a science class? Ever look at a little slide with a microscope? *sheesh*

My dad used to like to say, if you want to give yourself a headache (which I couldn't fathom why you would want to do that, but) try to imagine the limits of the universe. In otherwords, imagine the end of the universe, ok, now imagine what is beyond that, is there anything beyond that? Can you really imagine a finite universe? Ok, now, imagine that in that entire universe there are no other habitable solar systems, planets, etc.
Ok, now, can you really assume we are the ONLY intelligent life in the universe? I personally don't think I can buy that, I just can't imagine that. So, yes, they are real, do they pop in on us ocassionally? Maybe they do, is it that hard to imagine a species of extra-terrestrials that would investigate us? Isn't that what we do with NASA, explore space? So, yes, they are real, and they will be making themselves more known once we start to get our acts together more.

You gotta love questions that nobody knows the answer to....In my opinion, life does exist elsewhere in the universe(probably not intelligent life) maybe some sort of mold or spore. I do not believe that aliens with giant heads and slanted eyes are planning to overthrow earth or even abduct redneck idiots

It depends upon what you call aliens. Are demons real? Yes
Are evil spirits real? Yes Is Satan real? Yes Just because you can't see them doesn't any the less make them not real.
We can't see germs with the naked eye, but we know they are there. People have often said they've seen demons, evil spirits, and aliens.
Because of the evil in the world, Satan and the demons and their armies of evil have come down to us.

They are real enough to those who believe they have seen them. There are those who believe they have been abducted. The proof however is lacking in quality and quantity. I highly doubt you would enjoy being abducted.

yes.........my neighborhood is full of them!!! ALL illegal!
oh wait....... did you mean the ones from other planets?? That is different. Yes I believe .......think how many stars there are just in our galaxy alone.....now think of how many galaxies we know of..... even if it was a one in a billion chance, there would be billions of life forms out there.
