There are always vacancies for folks in hospitals despite the overspends reported. The best place to look on the web is the NHSjobs website - some NHS employers use ONLY this method of recruitment now. The process can be a little lengthy, despite being able to apply on-line. Type of work available tends to be manual or administrative, unless you have specific skills. However, due to the review of salaries across the whole NHS a couple of years ago, even these jobs are quite reasonably well paid. Try www.jobs.nhs.uk to see what you get. Some hospitals do still use their own or general recruitment sites, so it's always best to try a few alternatives in your search engine. Good luck!

To work at the airport you have to go through a background check which will take a minimum of 7 days to complete. To work for an airline will take about 2 - 3 weeks minimum as well. You can apply on line, almost all the major domestic carriers are hiring part time workers at the airport, not too many full time positions are open. You have to start at part time (6 hour shifts, various days off and work shifts) and wait for a full time shift to open up at most airports. But check with the airline or the airport to see what they have open.

Well to work in a hospital or airport usually involves police checks, etc before being employed. So you wouldn't get a job fast in these areas of employment!!
