Here is how this works. You have to first do the multiplication and division, which you are correct the / sign stands for division. So by plugging in the variables it should look like this:

5 * 4 - 6/2
Make is simplier by doing this:

(5 * 4) - (6 / 2)

this gets you
20 - 3 = 17

The answer is C. If you have A=6 and B=4 Then the vaule of 5b -a/2 is C. You have 5xb=20 and A =6 divided /2 =3.Then you have 20-3=17,your answer is C.

Correct...the / is division and the - is a minus sign. * is used for Multiplication. To solve this problem, first put the numbers in place of the letters and use your signs (so it would be 5*4-6/2) Next, you solve your multiplication (5*4=20) so the problem should now read 20-6/2=
Next, solve division (6/2=3) so the problem now reads 20-3=
finally, solve the subtraction...20-3=17, so your answer is C.

0.6% in decimal is 0.006. Why? purely flow the decimal place two times to the left. for occasion, a hundred% is purely a million. to help you exchange decimal to fraction, purely study the decimal aloud. right here, 0.006 reads "six thousandths". So, purely write it as is, 6 of 1000 or 6/1000. Simplifying supplies (by using dividing the two numerator and denominator by using 2) 3/500. it somewhat is it!
