It depends on a lot of factors.

Many phones can support a USB cable (Use a search engine with the phrase "USB cable" and the model of your phone to find one), some have one included in the box. You can then plug the phone into the computer and it will usually show up like a regular disk and you can drag and drop files from it.

Another popular option is Bluetooth. If your computer doesn't come with Bluetooth support then you can buy a USB Bluetooth dongle to add support. You can then pick "Send by Bluetooth" from the photo menu on the phone (the exact location and name of the option depends on the phone) and pick your computer to transfer the photo wirelessly.

Phones often come with email capability, so you could also email the images to yourself - but data plans tend to be expensive, so this wouldn't be my first choice.

Most phones can send a text/picture message to an email address...you just put in the email address in where you would for a number and wala!

if that doesn't work, you can see if there's a USB hookup for your phone and transfer that way!

You need a USB cable that connects to your phone and your computer. Just go to your wireless provider store and they'll tell you what USB cable you need. You'll also probably need some software so that your computer can send the files properly.

I have Sprint, and first, I have to upload mine to my "personal" Sprint website. This is assuming you have web access on your phone.

Once there, I right-click on the picture I want, choose "Save Picture As..." and it will take you to your My Pictures folder. You rename it and voila! This is running Windows XP, by the way.

I can't remember for sure if you upload them that they are removed from your phone, but once you're confident the photo has been uploaded, you can always manually delete it from your phone's files.

It depends on the phone. If it's a palm or black berry you could sync it to you computer and get the photo's off. If it's a regular Cell then you will have to email it to yourself.
