The first Americans probably came over here about 10,000-13,500 years ago. That date is under debate right now because of several potential sites with potentially older dates.

Apparently, the oldest human remains found in the Americas were in Mexico. They date back almost 13,000 years, according to a BBC news article from 2002. Humans as a species date back about 200,000 years, and the oldest remains of all are from Ethiopia and date back about 160,000 years.

Early man followed game across the land bridge that used to be where the Bering Strait is now, between Siberia and Alaska. I don't know where the oldest man has been found.

Currently unknown...
Probably from several different sources over many
thousands of years dating back much earlier than
previously thought..
It appears that Australian aborigines settled in South
America well before the Asian migration and the Asians
( now called Indians ) moved down from / through the north and killed off most of the Aborigines by the early 20th century.

I hope he wasn't found wherever you learned grammar. No one will ever know the answer to this, I doubt native americans were keeping records like this, besides when white men came here they probably stole them all anyway.

Go to your school library and take out this book: "The Peopling of the Americas" by Dr. James Adovasio (my former archaeology professor.)

The book will cover this topic better than any of us on here could.

You can also Google his name and find articles on the subject.
