What is the protein source in Similac Alimentum baby formula?

My son is on Similac Alimentum, a hypoallergenic baby formula, and I'm curious what the main protein source is in it?

its pre- digested, so they artificially break down casein.

Interesting question...my daughter has been on Alimentum for 5 months and never thought of that LOL

I do know that it's been a Godsend for us, she was horribly colicky until we finally switched her, but I am looking forward to the day when we don't have to pay $75 a week for formula!!! (She's up to 8 oz bottles now YIKES)
