Do you think the Robin thought it was morning?
Don't you just love to hear the Robins sing early on before they thrush and the blackbirds start to nest?

It is a possiblity that the robin thought it was morning as birds do often call at bright harmless objects such as torches and single lamposts.
And yes I do like listenng to birds in the morning, you just can't beat it as a wake up call.
