without a doubt it has to be the xbox 360.
as much as people say that the playstation 3 is the best thing since sliced bread. The only thing that i really has going for it is metal gear solid 4.
The xbox 360 is made by Microsoft, that gives it one brownie point. The games on the xbox 360 are out of this world and last but not least...two words...XBOX LIVE.
please dont get a playstation 3
if you dont want a 360, get a wii, but even with a wii, as cool as it is, the novelty of being able to actually do the actions, does eventually wear off.

If you are a person that likes to be right into the action all the time, then get the Xbox or Xbox 360. They have a lot of FPS (First Person Shooter) games and some TPS (Third Person Shooter) mainly shooters, but some RPGs (Role-Playing Games). If you are really into RPGs, the you should buy one of the Playstations. They have mainly RPGs like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. If you like games that everyone can play, games that are non-violent and child-oriented, then you should get either a Gamecube or a Wii, both consoles ahev basically the same games, with the exception that the Wii is different because of the sensor remote. The B\Gamecube and Wii also have some RPGs.

As of now, Wii is the most popular console by far. Here are the reasons:
1. Only cost $250 compared to $500-$1000 for a PS3
2. No major glitches in hardware and software where as PS3 had lots of glitches.
3. It's interactive and entertaining. A distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and can detect motion and rotation in three dimensions.
4. Another is WiiConnect24, which enables it to receive messages and updates over the Internet while in standby mode.

Only draw back is that it's in high demand and it's hard to find one.

If you're talking about a home gaming system go with the PS3. It's a great system and the game choices are much better.

This is really more a matter of opinion, and your interests.
The 360 tends to be more of a shooter, like gears of war, and halo.And, online play is HUGE on it.
The PS3 is more of an RPG console, 3rd person, platforming.
The Wii is a more kid / party oriented console, with using the remote to perform actions.
The Xbox, PS2, and gamecube basically apply the same.

Xbox 360, no doubt. The online replay value is what keeps the system so fun and popular. Also halo 3 baby.

This is a tough question. A ps3 cost alot but it has very good graphics and can play movies. The ps3 is really good and I recomend it to anybody. My cousins have a wii and those are fun Its like you are in a virtual world , especially Wii sports. It's like you really mad at you sis. Turn on the Wii and play boxing. Pretend you are hitting her. )Don't let her see) The xbox360 is neat but needs some improvment.

well theres the xbox, xbox 360, wii, game cube, playstation 1,2,3, nintendo 64, sega or something like just depends on what games you want to play and how you want to play them.
