Bukhari (72:715) - A woman came to Muhammad and begged her to stop her husband from beating her. Her skin was bruised so badly that she it is described as being "greener" than the green veil she was wearing. Muhammad did not admonish her husband, but instead ordered her to return to him and submit to his sexual desires.
Muslim (4:2127) - Muhammad struck his favorite wife, Aisha, in the chest one evening when she left the house without his permission. Aisha narrates, "He struck me on the chest which caused me pain."

Good points. Although I happen to agree with what I understand to be the Bible's position that women should do as their men say, that only applies if the man is doing what is right (by God). The woman, as I understand it, should not obey her husband if he does something that is morally wrong.
This is not to say I believe women are inferior, I just believe that "the man of the house" should have the final say in major issues, since he's the breadwinner. In the ideal relationships, husband and wife truly work together to achieve a common goal.

I'm gonna stand up for islam on this one (though I'm not muslim nor Xtian) The premis that violence dosent solve anything is well BS.. Violence solves pretty much everything in one way or another If not than what the Frack are we doing in Iraq?)
Relationships are Odd if you think about it... someone has to be in charge.. (I'm not saying it should be the male or the female.. just one of em) I can go either way.. but if someone in the relationship gets outta hand.. a 2X4 to the back of the head makes a gteat impression and makes ya think.. OH! THATS why I dont act like an IDIOT! (believe me i've been on the receiving end from a female before.. 6 times in fact.. my X wife.. 7th time she woke up and thought.. OK I guess I shouldnt do that anymore)
Girls.. lemme ask ya this? You wanna be my equal? act like my equal.. you dont hit me i wont hit you.. But there are WAY to many of you out there that think you can just hit away with impunity... I guarantee you ...you cannot with me... Either shut up and be the lil girl.. or stand and deliver like an equal... is that to much to expect? I'll treat you either way you want....

An even better question, why do liberals condone Islam and put it on par with christianity or other religions even though both Judiasm and Christianity (all forms) respect women and allow them to vote and be treated as humans, own property etc. Yet America is the evil one to these liberals and we are worse than Muslims?

That video made me unwell. It is going against my finished being. right here in Australia women folk are loose to drink and combine with men and choose their own companions. We even have an atheist lady single yet in a de facto dating best Minister. As an aside to make me chortle and not be so pissed off, final time I went to a strip club I (a guy) felt completely exploited.
