Vampires can be killed with a wooden stake to the heart or massive exposure to sunlight
Werewolves are killed if they are shot with a silver bullett (probably can be killed with anything silver)

Some good answers here.Like the turn off TV or leave the theatre.Any Silver weapon will do for a Werewolf:
in the early original film, with Lon Cheney Jr as the Werewolf, his father kills a Werewolf in wolf form by beating it to death with his walking stick.
this kills it OK. But ONLY becase it had a silver knob on the top
It's already bitten the son, so he's doomed to become a Werewolf.
A Werewolf can tell who his next victim will be if he sees the palm of his victims hand becuse a five-pointed star will appear.
If you see this film.
You'll find out that the study of Werewolves is Lycanthropy.

Silver hurts them both but not necessarily fatally.
Both can be destroyed by removing their hearts and heads and burning them separately however this is made tricky by the fact that ok on a vampire you can do it during the day and he probably won't sit up and b*tch about it, but a werewolf will hear you coming in either wolf or human form.
Silver is the only thing that can hurt a werewolf tho, take off a limb it shifts and it grows back, that can be a real pain in the wotnots at times.
vampires have the big weakness of having to sleep during daytime and being helpless but they still have human servants/guardians who you'll have to go thru to get to them, chances are they'll be stronger than most humans but they die the same way.
Best idea, get yourself a big gun with some ammo that leaves a large exit wound, take out the hearts and heads at a nice safe distance.

Wooden stake through the heart, crosses, exposure to sunlight and fire all kill vampires. A silver bullet kills werewolves. Or get them to fight each other like at the end of Van Helsing

Vampires with a wooden stake. A crucifix helps. Werewolf with a silver bullet. These seemed to work OK on my mother-in-law and sister-in-law.

Vampires have to staked through the heart, set on fire, or exposed to sun light. Werewolves have to be killed with any pure silver weapon or they can be dismembered.
