I can think of no pecuniary externalities other than your neighbors' house prices may rise.

A positive externality of this would be that they would reap a higher profit on the sale.

A negative externality would be higher taxes due to a higher valuation.

externalities are products that result from situations that are not part of its use....the negative externality is something that costs extra money to repair, a positive externality creates profit...a positive externality of a city bus would be lower polution because a bus uses less gas than 50 cars, a negative externality of a city bus would be high obesity rates because people dont walk as much...................................................so to answer your question, a negative externality of having a nice lawn could be chemical polution from fertalizers(though normally the chemicals are absorbed by plants), a negative externality could also be polution from the lawn mower. a positive externality would be that your house price is raised, and that you become healthier from being outdoors and from the excersize of maintaining a lawn.
