hi im 13 and im moving into a small house due to financial reasons and im goign to have to share a room with my brother who is 17 and im going through puberty and i masturbate and i dont like to in the bathroom incase sumone finds stuff (if you know what i mean) so i do it in my bedroom should i be open about it or what and what should i do when im changing? like is it normal for brothers to see eachother naked? im and i dont have a dad he recently died and my mom couldnt make ends meet so now we are in an apartment. and i was wondering since i no longer have a dad should he become my new father kind of thing or what? im confsed kind of

You have lots of changes going on in your life right now; don't you? I know sometimes change is hard, but you're doing the right thing by asking these questions.
I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. But, your Mom sounds like she's making some good changes to help your family make ends meet.
It's pretty normal for brothers to see each other naked. It's not a big deal. I used to share a bedroom with my older brother, too. What I would do was...I'd wait until he was asleep. I could tell by his breathing, because it would become slow & steady. Then I'd do my thing, making sure I was quiet about it.
About your brother sortof becoming your Dad; only you & he can make that decision. You can talk to him about it & ask him if he's comfortable with doing that.
