I have T-Mobile and it does not work in my home or my place of work. I drop calls constantly and I'm tired of it. What do I need to say to get them to end my contract without having to pay the cancellation fee? I am not really good at things like this, so I would appreciate any advice.

Actually, most carriers (Including Verizon Wireless) have exception clauses to their Early Termination Fee policies. If you are truly having signal issues around your house, and not just in your house, you can call and have them do a Trouble Ticket. If the ticket comes back and says that they can only provide you marginal coverage around your house, and there are no plans of future build-out, then they will waive the ETF. No carrier can guarantee coverage indoors though, as it is a wireless industry at the mercy of whatever obstructions are in the air. I hope that helps a little.

you pretty much cant. I had verizon for about 2 months and I realized that this service sucked... I tried to cancel but because I had signed a 2 year contract Id have to pay the 175$ cancellation fee. Most service providers (if not all) give a you like a 15 day trial period, so youd be able to cancel within that period without incurring any fees. I know this realy sucks but there's no way around it (unless you have some reallly good connections). Good luck and I hope this helps.

Tell them you just found out your company has to relocate you to a foreign country for a couple of years so you can't use your phone anymore.
