It is a decent school -- but it is likely that you could get into a better school if you can get in there.

The best Catholic Universities are Notre Dame, Georgetown and Boston College -- which are all great universities. Next are Villanova Holy Cross and Marquette -- which are all excellent regional universities. Then there are the others. Loyola Marymount fits in with those -- middle of the pack.

isn't it a christian/catholic school?

being a private school it will be ALOT more expensive, however you might see a closer nit group of peers and possibly smaller class sizes

a great plus is that the dorms are AMAZING a cousing of mine goes there and is staying in an awesome dorm, apartment like 2 rooms 4 roomates a kitchen and a bathroom :) alot of lmu's dormatories have been recently renovated

i would choose pepperdine over lmu though...better views of the pacific!!!

u might also consider ucla! gooooo bruins!

either way stay on the westside

(one last thing...u might want to look into scholarship opportunities being a religious school and a private school they should offer nice scholarship plans...being privatly funded and all)

usc is all hype and no show
