This is my 4th pregnancy, 3rd child. I keep feeling something in my stomach, but believe it is too early to feel the baby?

At seven weeks, the baby is just about a quarter of an inch and has JUST started making primative jerking movements. Not much bigger by 8 weeks and same kind of movements, so no. But if it makes you smile, its the baby, lol. If there were some way you could feel it, it would be way down low near the pubic bone. Best of luck to you!

The baby is the size of a rasberry by now and too small to notice. Since you've been pregnant before, I'm sure you've been told about Elastin (spelling?)... a hormone that is produced during pregnancy at high levels to soften your ligaments and make your muscles more maleable and stretchy to accomodate your upcoming growth. People can often feel thier muscles growing, twitching or spasming during this process (like you, in their tummy area, because this is where a big change will occur). Some people notice more flexibility, but it's important to watch your physical activity a little more closely becuase you're more susceptible to pulling and straining...

You usually can feel movement earlier in a second, third, or in your case a 4th pregnancy. But, 8 weeks...I think that is still way too early. I would say by about 14 weeks...

no I do not think this is possible. The baby is way too small to fell already. You may feel it earlier since this is your 3rd child. Maybe 15 weeks or so.

I felt the baby move before I even knew I was pregnant. Of course it felt entirely different than the feelings around 16-17 weeks, but I definately noticed something. It almost felt like butterflies in my stomach. It made me feel like I was physically nervous without being emotionally nervous. It was weird. I spoke with my doctor about it when I went to my first exam and they said that I was feeling the movements of the yolk sac and that it was uncommon but not impossible to feel it.

At 8 weeks, it really is too early to feel baby moving. You just may be feeling the pangs of hunger........or even your stomach settling.

With a first pregnacy you will not be able to feel the baby until your well into you 2nd trimester, but if this is not your first pregnancy, your more likely to feel the baby's movements this early. I believe what you are feeling is the baby. Good Luck and Congradulations!

it is way too early to feel the baby kicking. i am on my second pregnancy, and i am 13 weeks, and i was told it is even impossible for me to be feeling the baby kicking, although i think i feel it. but 8 weeks is way to early. there are many reasons this could happen, gas, uterus tilting, and bowel obstruction to name a few. theres no way.
