Braxton Hicks Contractions are early contractions.
That means you are nearing your time. If you have started "nesting" which means you suddenly get the urge to clean and get ready for the baby then you
are ready to have that baby real soon. When ever you start to get those Braxton contractions just change position. If you are standing then sit down.
It won't be long now. Congratulations!

My docs always told me if i could make the contractions go away with rest, bath, walk, nap, Tylenol, etc. then it was not the real thing!! Now i know what it feels like and believe me you will know when it is time!!! They will be a lot stronger and closer together!! If they continue the only option if to go to the doc or hospital!!! Good luck!!

To me it sounds like Braxton Hicks, since they aren't getting closer and more painful, that would be my guess. Usually BH go away when you walk or are active, mine usually come on when I lay down to go to sleep, and it feels like my stomach is balling up on me. I was always told BH don't hurt, or they aren't as painful as real contractions, but they definitely hurt sometimes!

If your Doctor put you on bedrest he must be thinking something is serious. Hopefully you have contacted him about your concerns, if not please do it immediately.
