Verizon is the new technologically advanced internet service that runs through fiber optic cables. This means that all of the data coming through your cables to your pc will be 100% clear and undistorted, so if you decide you wanna get 15 mbps youll get something very close to that.

Comcast still runs on the old school coaxial cables, like your tv. Speed is pretty good but they dont offer any more than 8 mbps. The quality can be pretty good at times, but sometimes it can be less dependinig on internet traffic. The good thing aboout verizon is that youd have your own independent terminal which guarantees you a particular speed.

NOw as far as price goes, comcast is definitely the cheaper one. You can get it for as low as $ 30 a month, verizon is 35 for Fios thats 5 mbps, and 45 for 15mbps. SO if you have the money to spend, Id definetly go with verizon. I personally have it and it works pretty damn good... esp if you play xbox live. good luck and I hope this helps.

I have comcast and it sucks. It's almost as slow as dial up. I'm getting Verizon when we move soon.
