1/ Until the last 50 years or so, there used to a distinct difference btw the broadsheet (more informative news) and the tabloid, which is more topical news....now, you have tabloids that report like broadsheets and vice versa.

2/ The paper used to be available in two daily editions - morning news and evening news.....but nightly TV news has taken over the the evening news edition

I had heard that newspapers in that time were mostly written and were sol donly in papers. They typewriter wasn't invented near 1833 it was invented later on that century. Picturs of the pepole were drawn by fine artist instead of being copied an dprinted on the paper.

Curently, news can be foudn anywhere. At yor local corner store, television, and papers.

So the only diffrence id say was that modern technoligies had increased population of current events
