yes, I feel awkward because I don't really know them well and they're annoying sometimes. My guy understands this though so it's all good.

Luckily for me, my girlfriends friends.. are also my friends.. so fortunately I don't have that problem myself! Although in the past I have felt that is the case immensely, if they have the opposite interests it is the worst possibly as you have no conversation to relate to and your partner finds themselves in the middle of what they hoped would be a break through and fun event, when in fact they and yourself can't wait to go home!

Luckily my partner doesnt have many friends, the ones he does have are dodgy and i try to stay away from them as much as possible. He knows i dont like them and really only sees them when im not around.

yep all they do is chat about women, make me feel uncomfortable.. they can be a laugh sometimes, but the conversation usually consists of cars, and women..

I put up with them only because he has to put up with mine. Let your partner know though, cause then he might award you for good behaviour if you spend the whole night with them without whinging.

Works a treat for me! :)

no, my wives friends are OK, but I hate hanging out with my mates partners friends (best pal got married and his wife brought boring pals into the mix) when they are all together all they talk about is Minis!!! Now my best mate is a car bore and gets off on talking about Top Gear....Top Sneer, I call it!!! Don't get me started Clarkson, I drive a 'normal' car and I am not a poof!

I don't hang out with my partners friends as it's against our relgion for his male friends to see me. And he's busy studying so he doesn't have time to see his friends except in class.

Nope, I love it! We don't have a lot of friends, its mostly couples who we both get on with but i mostly get on better with guys than women anyway, us women are too damn complicated for our own good! at least with a guy you know if you give him a cold beer and a warm pair of boobs he's happy!

its depends which friends.

he has 3 sets his friends who he went to school with (they are all gradually moving away)
the lads from the cricket club
and his work mates.

i love his work mates to bits.
the lads from the cricket club are cool but i dont like their WAGs coz they are all bitchy
and his school mates are either ok or super depressing.
