Not withstanding the rejection problems with the heart transplant and the possibility of blowing an artery in the brain or either heart from excessive BP, I would say it is a nice gesture on your part to be thinking about a remedy for an M.I. but your hypothetical is too flawed to be useful.

Interesting, be like a Holly Double Pumper Carburetor.
I not sure if it work or not. With the advanced medical technology and understanding of the heart, it could be possible. May connect the extra heart as a secondary backup with a feedback loop to relieve excess pressure yet be able to take full control if the primary heart fails. Now, I just making guesses here as I feel anything possible. Heck, seen them grow a human ear on a mouse, who would have ever believed that?

I would say, no, since the blood pressure, among other things, would be much too high for that person to live.
