I am the author of a young adult urban fantasy which is available online through amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com but has limited in store availability. From the teens out in Yahoo! land I wanted to know if you ever shop online for books or do you just shop the book stores?

I doubt teens buy books online much because it requires credit cards. It sounds as though you are self published or with a very small publisher who isnt doing much to promote you. How about visiting schools or opening a website?

personally, i do a bit of both. but now i've noticed that the shipping fees for buying online add up. So I mostly go to book stores.

First of all no. I personally buy books in stores. and so do most of my friends

and second of all (to Barrett), being a teen, i'll have you know i enjoy reading and i do not appreciate you calling teens too stupid to read. if you had our schedules. you know why we don't read too often. gee. maybe it's because.. we don't have a lot of time!
