As soon as I take one load out of the dryer, I clean out the lint trap before I put in the next load.

I have an awesome lint collection I keep in a baggie hanging next to the dryer, too!

yea... before every load that goes into the dryer... i'm not a fan of house fires caused by a full lint trap...

It needs to be cleaned out either after each load or before each load. I personally do it before the next load.
Not doing so will risk in burning your house down.

Yeah typically everytime I go to put more clothes in to it. If you let too mch build up that could be dangerous.

Every time we use it we make sure we clean the filter first. Repair bills can be expensive.
