And how are the two laptops going to 'share' projector? overlay? side-by-side? top and bottom? what proportion? If they are NOT going to share, why did you specify two laptops?

What do you intend to do with it?

Are you trying to connect two laptops to one projector to be used at the same time? Do you want to easily switch between the two laptops displaying on the projector?

Depending on the projector, all you should need is 3 standard vga cables of sufficient length and a KVM or monitor switch.
